Applied Kinesiology

Whether it’s giving the athlete his “edge” or discovering solutions to simple or complex health issues, the science of Applied Kinesiology has proven a powerful adjunct to the chiropractic doctor in attaining results that are quick, effective, and lasting....frequently when all other avenues have failed.  AK has expanded in popularity due to its successes in quickly discovering the cause of individual disturbances in the body as well as specific solutions.

Developed in the 1960s by Dr. George Goodheart, DC, Applied Kinesiology is a unique system of evaluation of the nervous, vascular, and lymphatic systems, nutrition, acupuncture, and cerebrospinal fluid function.  Utilizing muscle evaluation, the AK doctor discovers weaknesses in muscles and, through experienced evaluation, determines if there is also weakness in an associated organ, gland or other tissue along the same nerve, vascular, or acupuncture meridian.  Evaluation then determines the course of treatment, nutritional supplementation, or therapy that will lead to correction.  This correction improves function in muscles, joints, and organ systems, thereby providing a system of healing that is accurate, painless, and drug-free.
